Cellar Waterproofing

Protecting your home

Cellars located below ground level can be particularly affected by damp issues because they are surrounded by earth, which tends to hold moisture in. We use a process known as tanking to provide a waterproof shield that ensures that internal walls of a cellar stay dry.

Tanking is a specialist waterproofing technique that we use to stop water damage to your cellar. Our specialist team can convert any cellar, basement or vault into a habitable space as tanking is really the only process that can be guaranteed for 30 years because you want your cellar development to last a long time and to be saleable once it’s completed.

Comprehensive Project Management

Our team of experienced and qualified tradesman can transform your basement or cellar in whatever condition it’s in, into a new, practical living space, adding extra habitable and saleable room to your property. We have been providing quality cellar conversions across the UK for many years and always provide a reliable and affordable solution.

A cellar conversion is a fantastic way to extend your property and in most cases is a relatively easy way of making more room.

Treating your cellar or basement with the correct waterproofing system through cellar tanking, means that the underground space can be renovated and completely transformed into a brand new living space, adding both the benefit of extra living space and increasing your property’s value. A cellar conversion is a surprisingly straight forward solution for increasing the living area of your property.

Type C Specification

Our cellar conversions are designed in accordance with BS8101: 2009, Code Of Practice For Protection Of Below Ground Structures Against Water From The Ground. This is an update from BS8102: 1990 Protection of Structures Against Water from the Ground. So, our cellar conversions are designed to deal with an external head of water, this is the depth of the cellar or basement, where floor to ceiling height of the space is less than four metres, so in the event of substantial water-logging, the internal environment is protected.
